My work
I often experiment with new techniques to apply the paint. Besides the brush and pallet knife, I use cotton swabs, spray bottles, pieces of wood, sponges, nails, foam and fingers (just my own), sometimes straight from the tube. Colors, shapes, dashes, circles, blobs, strokes, smears, dots, extensions, they ultimately form an image, abstract, figurative, graphic, it can be anything. I like to leave it to the viewer.
The world of shape and color is a world in which I like to be.
I wander, I search, I transform. Soft strokes, greasy blobs, wild smears.
The world comes alive. Paint screams, colours, drips and smells
The form crawls out of the strokes
The feeling is in the color
The form is the smell.
Art moves, shocks, challenges and amazes.
The artist laughs, cries and thinks,
I'll make another one few hundred
Enjoy, Wander
